PGT Hindi Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Punjabi Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching the Punjabi language, literature, and culture, and capable of creating an engaging learning environment for students of varying proficiency levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Punjabi language (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) to students at assigned grade levels.
• Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Teach Punjabi grammar, vocabulary, literature, poetry, prose, and cultural heritage.
• Use interactive and student-centered teaching methods to enhance learning.
• Prepare classroom materials, activities, and assessments.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and culturally respectful classroom environment.
• Participate in school events, cultural programs, and language activities.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
• Stay updated with teaching methodologies and language trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Punjabi, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
• B.Ed. or teaching certification preferred.
• Prior experience teaching Punjabi (school, college, or coaching center) is an asset.
• Strong command over Punjabi language (Gurmukhi script) and Punjabi literature.
• Ability to teach using modern teaching tools and digital platforms.

Skills Required

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Punjabi.
• Strong classroom management and organizational abilities.
• Creative lesson planning and ability to engage students.
• Patience, empathy, and passion for teaching.
• Ability to work collaboratively with academic staff.

Additional Requirements

• Familiarity with regional Punjabi culture and traditions.
• Ability to conduct co-curricular activities like debates, poetry recitation, cultural events, etc.
• Basic knowledge of educational technology tools (smart boards, online teaching apps).
