Position Overview

Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Nagapattinam, invites applications from qualified and passionate educators for the post of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Mathematics. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong subject expertise, effective teaching strategies, and a commitment to holistic and value-based education in alignment with Chinmaya Vidyalaya’s ethos.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics for Classes XI & XII as per the CBSE curriculum (including Calculus, Algebra, Vectors, etc.).
• Plan and deliver engaging, concept-based, and exam-oriented lessons.
• Conduct Mathematics Laboratory activities to visualize concepts and ensure proper documentation of practical records.
• Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations, competitive exams (JEE, etc.), and internal assessments.
• Design worksheets, assignments, question papers, and evaluation tools.
• Assess student performance and provide timely feedback and remedial support.
• Maintain academic records, practical files, internal assessment registers, and student progress reports.
• Integrate ICT tools, smart boards, graphing software (e.g., GeoGebra), and digital resources in teaching.
• Participate actively in school activities, seminars, workshops, and professional development programs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to academic planning and curriculum enrichment.
• Uphold school discipline, values, and ethical standards.

Eligibility Criteria

• M.Sc. Mathematics / Applied Mathematics with B.Ed. or equivalent qualification (mandatory).
• Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (CBSE preferred).
• Strong command over subject content and modern pedagogy.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with CBSE assessment patterns and NEP guidelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
