Job Description: CBSE PGT Maths Teacher

Position: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Mathematics

School: Narayana Etechno School, Coimbatore (Athipalayam)
Board: CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education)
Level: Senior Secondary (Classes 6 TO 10)

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics to students of Classes 6 and 10 as per the CBSE syllabus.
• Prepare and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans to ensure conceptual clarity and academic excellence.
• Conduct regular assessments, tests, and evaluations to monitor student progress.
• Provide individual attention and extra coaching to students who need help.
• Encourage and facilitate participation in Maths-related co-curricular activities such as Olympiads, quizzes, and competitions.
• Maintain discipline and promote a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with other teachers and school management to enhance the overall academic program.
• Prepare and submit academic reports and maintain records as per school norms.
• Stay updated with the latest CBSE curriculum changes and examination patterns.
• Guide students for board examinations, internal assessments, and practicals.
• Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Post Graduate degree in Mathematics (M.Sc. Maths / M.A. Maths or equivalent).
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory for PGT positions).
• Strong knowledge of CBSE syllabus and examination patterns.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts for better understanding.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
