Job PurposeTo deliver high-quality Physics education aligned with the CBSE curriculum, fostering scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and application-based learning. The role aims to prepare students for board examinations and competitive entrance tests while nurturing curiosity and a love for science.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesA. Academic Delivery

  • Lesson Planning & Curriculum Implementation
  • Design annual and unit plans in line with CBSE guidelines and the school’s academic calendar.
  • Prepare detailed lesson plans, learning objectives, and laboratory demonstrations.
  • Classroom Teaching
  • Teach Physics for Grades XI & XII (and IX–X if required) using interactive, activity-based methods.
  • Integrate experiments, models, and digital tools (simulations, smart boards) for conceptual clarity.
  • Assessment & Evaluation
  • Prepare question papers, assignments, and practical test schedules.
  • Conduct formative and summative assessments; maintain fair and transparent grading.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Practical & Laboratory Work
  • Supervise Physics laboratory sessions ensuring safety protocols.
  • Maintain and update laboratory equipment and inventory.

B. Student Development

  • Mentor students for Olympiads, NTSE, JEE/NEET Physics segments, and other competitive exams.
  • Identify learning gaps and provide remedial classes or enrichment sessions.
  • Encourage project-based learning and participation in science fairs.

C. Administrative & School Engagement

  • Maintain accurate student records: attendance, marks, behavioral notes.
  • Participate in parent–teacher meetings, staff meetings, and school events.
  • Contribute to school publications, exhibitions, and inter-house activities.

D. Professional Development

  • Attend workshops, CBSE training sessions, and continuous professional development programs.
  • Stay updated with NEP 2020 recommendations and advancements in science education.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Physics from a recognized university.
  • B.Ed. (mandatory as per CBSE norms).
  • Minimum 5+ years of senior-secondary teaching experience, preferably in a CBSE-affiliated school.
  • Strong record of board exam results and mentoring for competitive exams is desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
