Job Title: Political Science Teacher

Job Summary:

Euro International School, Sector 84, is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Political Science Teacher to join our Senior Secondary faculty. The ideal candidate will have strong subject expertise, effective communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for inspiring students to understand political systems, governance, and civic engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Political Science to students of Classes XI and XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that encourage analytical and critical thinking.
• Prepare students for board examinations through conceptual clarity and practice sessions.
• Incorporate current affairs and contemporary political developments into classroom discussions.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
• Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development sessions.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary learning where applicable.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree (M.A.) in Political Science with B.Ed. (mandatory).
• Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (preferably in a CBSE-affiliated school).
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
• Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills.
• Updated knowledge of political theories, constitutions, and current national/international issues.
• Proficiency in digital teaching tools and online classroom platforms.

Salary:

Commensurate with experience and as per school norms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
