Job Title: PGT Psychology Teacher

Role Description:

We are seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and experienced Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Psychology to join our faculty. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of psychological theories and concepts, a passion for teaching, and the ability to connect with senior secondary students (Classes XI & XII). The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, fostering critical thinking, and preparing students for academic success in the subject.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching & Curriculum Delivery:
• Teach Psychology to Classes XI & XII in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
• Plan and deliver interactive, concept-based, and student-centric lessons.
• Use varied teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
• Assessment & Evaluation:
• Conduct regular assessments, unit tests, and maintain academic records.
• Evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Mentoring & Support:
• Provide academic and emotional support to students.
• Guide students in applying psychological knowledge to real-life situations.
• Assist in career counseling sessions and psychological wellness activities.
• Classroom & Resource Management:
• Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment.
• Prepare and use teaching aids, presentations, and digital resources.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Coordinate with other faculty members and participate in school activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents during PTMs and on student progress.
• Participate in workshops, training programs, and continuous professional development.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Postgraduate Degree (M.A./M.Sc.) in Psychology.
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
• Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (preferred).
• Strong command over subject matter and excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with digital teaching tools and modern pedagogical practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
