Job Summary and Qualifications

The pharmacy technician specialist – chemotherapy is trained and proficient in the sterile and non-sterile compounding techniques required for the handling of hazardous drugs. The technician primarily works in the IV room compounding hazardous drug products for hospitals with significant oncology programs. Procures and distributes medications orders per physician request, pharmacist request, or prearranged work assignment according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Graduate / GED
• (PHARM-Intern) Pharmacist - Intern, or (PharmTech) Pharmacy Technician License
• Chemo compounding experience preferred
