Pharmaceutical Procurement Manager
Job Duties & Responsibilities
1. Strategic Procurement Planning
· Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
· Forecast purchasing needs based on production plans and demand.
· Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.
2. Supplier Sourcing & Management
· Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers.
· Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
· Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations.
3. Negotiation & Contract Management
· Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts.
· Draft and manage supplier agreements.
· Ensure compliance with legal and company policies.
4. Purchase Operations
· Oversee purchase orders and approvals.
· Ensure timely procurement of materials and goods.
· Coordinate with warehouse and production teams.
5. Cost Control & Budgeting
· Monitor procurement budgets and control spending.
· Analyze market trends and pricing.
· Implement cost reduction strategies.
6. Inventory Coordination
· Maintain optimal stock levels.
· Avoid overstocking and shortages.
· Implement inventory control systems.
7. Compliance & Risk Management
· Ensure procurement compliance with regulations.
· Identify supply risks and develop contingency plans.
· Maintain documentation for audits.
8. Cross-Department Coordination
· Collaborate with production, finance, and logistics teams.
· Align procurement with operational planning.
· Support new product development sourcing.
9. Data Analysis & Reporting
· Track procurement KPIs.
· Prepare reports for management.
· Use ERP systems for tracking.
10. Team Leadership
· Lead and train procurement staff.
· Set performance goals.
· Drive continuous improvement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
