Key Responsibilities: Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medications to ensure accuracy and safety.
  • Review and evaluate prescriptions for appropriateness, potential drug interactions, and patient-specific factors.
  • Provide expert advice on medication use, dosage adjustments, and therapy alternatives to healthcare providers and patients.
  • Conduct medication therapy management (MTM) and patient counseling sessions.
  • Monitor and assess the outcomes of pharmaceutical care interventions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor Pharmacy (Pharm.B.), Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or equivalent degree in Pharmacy or relevant field is a plus.
  • Licensure: Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the applicable state.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in a clinical or hospital pharmacy setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and drug regulations.
  • Leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and electronic health records (EHRs).
