1. Job Purpose
1.1. Responsible for performing day-to-day activities in the commerce pharmacy in order to serve customers, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, coordinate with employees and suppliers, and support in improving sales.
1.2. Additionally, the pharmacist must hold a valid driving license to support operational requirements such as inter-branch support, procurement, and sales-related field tasks.

2. Minimum Qualifications/Education/Experience/Training/Knowledge
2.1. Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with a minimum of 1 year experience.
2.2. Holder of valid Qatar Council for Health Practitioners (QCHP) license.
2.3. Must possess a valid Qatar Driving License (mandatory).
2.4. Proficient in MS Office (Excel & Word); knowledge of ERP is an advantage.
2.5. Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
2.6. Experience in clerical activities is an advantage.

3. Communication and Working Relationships
3.1. Reports to immediate supervisors on operational aspects through feedback and reporting.
3.2. Coordinates with customers, buyers, suppliers, and external vendors to ensure compliance and support.

4. Key Dimensions and Related Job Results
4.1. Dispensing medicines and other items to customers and sales team.
4.2. Controlled medicines sales, monitoring, and management.
4.3. Participation in purchasing, stock updating, and stock arrangement.
4.4. Handling insurance approvals, post-approval processing, and insurance payment follow-up.
4.5. Monitoring expired goods, removing from shelves, and processing for return/replacement.
4.6. Handling billing, daily sales closing, and post day-closing document processing.
4.7. Providing supplementary information to customers regarding drug dosage and diet regimen.
4.8. Supporting external tasks such as delivery, inter-outlet support, and supplier coordination requiring driving.

5. Operating Environment
5.1. Job location may change based on business requirements. The job holder may be relocated to any outlet or department.
5.2. The working environment is physically demanding, requiring long working hours, working on holidays, and physical agility.
5.3. The job is emotionally & psychologically demanding; the job holder may face pressure from customers, operational needs, compliance requirements, and regulatory authorities.
5.4. Occasional outdoor work and travel between outlets/branches may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • pharmacist: 2 years (Preferred)

  • 50% (Preferred)
