Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispensing & Prescription Review
  • Accurately dispense medications as per the prescription.
  • Review prescriptions for appropriateness, potential drug interactions, and dosage accuracy.
  • Clarify any ambiguities with the prescribing doctor if necessary.
  • Patient Counseling
  • Provide clear instructions on dosage, usage, side effects, and storage of medications.
  • Educate patients on the importance of medication adherence.
  • Inventory & Storage Management
  • Maintain optimum stock levels and check expiry dates regularly.
  • Ensure safe and proper storage of medicines as per norms.
  • Maintain records of inward and outward medicine movement.
  • Regulatory Compliance
  • Adhere to hospital protocols and statutory pharmacy regulations.
  • Maintain necessary documentation as required by the Drug Control Authority.
  • Ensure proper billing and record-keeping.
  • Quality Assurance
  • Participate in internal audits and quality improvement programs.
  • Ensure that high standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained in the pharmacy.
  • Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff.
  • Provide drug information support to healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm / B.Pharm)
  • Licensure: Valid Kerala State Pharmacy Council Registration
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
