Pharmacist

Dispensing Medications: Accurately prepare, compound, label, and dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications to patients. Patient Consultation: Counsel patients on the correct use of their medications, including dosage, administration, potential side effects, and adherence. Professional Collaboration: Advise physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers on drug selection, interactions, and alternative treatments to optimize therapy. Prescription Review: Evaluate prescriptions to check for accuracy, appropriateness, potential drug interactions, and contraindications. Health Services: Administer immunizations and provide basic health screenings. Inventory and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records, manage inventory, and ensure proper storage of medications, including controlled substances, in compliance with regulations. Patient Monitoring: Monitor patient medication profiles and outcomes to ensure safe and effective treatment. Staying Informed: Continuously update knowledge on new drugs, medical advancements, and pharmacological information. Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all relevant state and federal laws and regulations governing pharmacy practice.
