  • Dispensing and Compounding: Prepare, store, and dispense medications to patients according to prescriptions and physicians' orders.
  • Patient Counseling: Educate patients on their medications, including proper use, side effects, and storage.
  • Drug Therapy Monitoring: Review patient charts and participate in ward rounds to monitor drug therapies, identifying and resolving potential drug interactions and adverse effects.
  • Medication Safety: Ensure the safe and effective use of medications by checking prescriptions, verifying allergies, and optimizing medication plans.

Administrative & Operational Duties

  • Inventory Management: Track and order pharmaceutical supplies, drugs, and other medical supplies, ensuring proper storage and handling.
  • Staff Supervision: Manage and supervise pharmacy technicians and trainees, ensuring the quality of their work and maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records, including patient profiles and controlled substance inventories.
  • Formulary Management: Assist in developing and managing the hospital's drug formulary, selecting medications based on safety, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness.

Collaboration & Education

  • Multidisciplinary Teamwork: Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to make informed drug-related decisions and improve patient care.
  • Information Resource: Serve as a resource by providing information on medicines to other healthcare workers, patients, and the general public.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in activities that improve medication use, safety, and overall pharmaceutical services within the hospital

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
