About the Role

We are looking for a qualified and customer-focused Pharmacist to join our growing Dawaa Dost retail network. In this role, you’ll be responsible for dispensing medicines, guiding customers on usage and dosage, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with all pharmacy regulations. You will play a key role in upholding the Dawaa Dost promise — trust, transparency, and affordability in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescribed and over-the-counter medicines to customers.
• Verify prescriptions, check drug interactions, and ensure proper dosage instructions are provided.
• Educate customers about medicine usage, side effects, and storage as per guidelines.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with Drug & Cosmetics Act and other regulations.
• Manage stock levels, expiry checks, and daily inventory reconciliation.
• Ensure the store display, storage, and handling of medicines meet quality and safety standards.
• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations, billing, and reporting.
• Coordinate with doctors, vendors, and internal teams for smooth operational flow.
• Uphold the brand’s values of affordability, authenticity, and ethical practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm / B.Pharm).
• Valid Pharmacist License registered under the State Pharmacy Council.
• 0–3 years of experience in a retail pharmacy or healthcare environment.
• Strong understanding of generic medicines, dosage forms, and regulations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work in shift-based retail environments and maintain service excellence.

Bonus Skills (A Plus for Your Application)

• Experience with POS systems or pharmacy management software (e.g., GoFrugal, Marg, or Tally).
• Knowledge of generic substitution and cost-effective medicine alternatives.
• Basic understanding of inventory management and store audits.
• Passion for customer service and community health awareness.
