Pharmacist | Pharmacy Department
Reporting To: Head of Pharmacy

Key Responsibilities & Achievements:

• Accurately dispense medications while ensuring correct dosage, strength, and method of administration, maintaining a high standard of patient safety.
• Provide professional counseling to customers on medication use, potential side effects, interactions, and proper storage to promote safe and effective treatment.
• Advise on over-the-counter (OTC) medicines and veterinary drug alternatives, contributing to informed decision-making for customers and staff.
• Apply product knowledge to support sales targets through appropriate upselling and cross-selling of pharmacy products.
• Ensure pharmacy operations comply with national laws, health authority regulations, and ethical standards, maintaining organizational integrity.
• Maintain precise records of controlled substances, adhering to legal and institutional requirements.
• Monitor and manage stock levels of pharmaceuticals, vaccines, anesthetics, and consumables to guarantee uninterrupted supply.
• Oversee proper disposal of expired or unused medicines in line with environmental and safety regulations.
• Prepare and deliver timely reports to management to support operational decision-making and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / Pharm.D) or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills, with proficiency in Arabic (required).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare setting, demonstrating practical knowledge of pharmacy operations and patient care.
