Pharmacist

We are seeking a licensed and dedicated Pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy in Alappuzha. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately dispensing prescriptions, providing patient counseling, and ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of the pharmacy.

Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications to customers.

Provide clear and compassionate counseling to patients on the proper use of their medications, potential side effects, and drug interactions.

Ensure all pharmacy operations, including dispensing and record-keeping, comply with regulations set by the Pharmacy Council of India and the Kerala State Pharmacy Council.

Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering stock and monitoring expiry dates.

Collaborate with healthcare providers as needed to ensure optimal patient care.

Handle billing and cash transactions with accuracy and integrity.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

Education: A valid Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from a PCI-approved institution.

Registration: Mandatory registration with the Kerala State Pharmacy Council.

Experience: Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting is preferred.

Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and customer service skills.

Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, their side effects, and interactions.
