Overview : Our client, a Global Fortune 50 organization and one of world’s largest distributors of Healthcare systems, Medical supplies & Pharmaceutical products, seeks an accomplished Pharmacist



Position: Pharmacist

Location: Remote

Duration: 3-6 months+ temp-to-hire!!!


Pay Rate: 62/hr


Note:

  • REMOTE role
  • Work schedule would be Monday - Friday, from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, however may include some time in advance or afterwards as we are working with a live provider practice and their patients physically coming into their office.
  • Travel required: The location is remote with a potential need to travel. It should be a low travel requirement, but I would like to have 20% as the potential travel amount.
  • Important: The candidate MUST have an unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of Washington.
  • I would prefer the candidate to have Oncology and/or Specialty Medication dispensing experience. The environment is an Oncology provider's office for dispensing oral medications, injectables, as well as infusion medications.
  • Work Environment: Requires prolonged computer use and frequent communication via phone and electronic systems.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Remote Oncology Pharmacist is responsible for reviewing and verifying medication orders, ensuring safe and appropriate therapy, and providing clinical support to patients and providers. This role focuses on prescription processing activities, including therapy evaluation, recommendations, and drug information support, without involvement in onsite dispensing operations.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of Washington.
  • Minimum of 3 years of dispensing pharmacist experience; oncology or specialty pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong clinical knowledge of oncology medications and treatment protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills for remote patient and provider interactions.
