Roles and Responsibilties:
(Please Note: This position is open to Male applicant in line with operational requirements)
Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage.
Verify prescriptions for accuracy, legality, and potential drug interactions.
Ensure compliance with MOPH regulations and ethical pharmaceutical practices.
Dispense prescribed medications accurately and ensure proper documentation.
Regulatory & Compliance:
Maintain accurate records of all pharmaceutical transactions.
Ensure all medications are stored and dispensed following safety guidelines.
Adhere to local laws governing the sale and distribution of controlled substances.
Inventory & Stock Management:
Monitor stock levels and manage inventory to prevent shortages.
Conduct regular audits to identify expired or near-expiry medications.
Coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment.
Collaboration & Continuous Learning:
Work closely with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
Stay updated with new drugs, treatment protocols, and regulatory changes.
Train and supervise pharmacy assistants and junior staff as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmacy (retail or hospital setting).
License: Must have or be eligible for a Qatar Pharmacist License from MOPH.
Skills: Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, excellent customer service, and attention to detail.
Language: Proficiency in English is required; Arabic is an added advantage.
