About the Role

As a pharmacist in Nauru, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring access to safe and effective medications. You’ll work closely with physicians, nurses, and public health professionals to serve the community with integrity and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely
• Provide patient counselling on medication use and side effects
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure proper storage of drugs
• Assist in procurement planning and stock management
• Train and supervise pharmacy support staff
• Uphold pharmacy standards and compliance with local regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy
• Registered/licensed pharmacist in home country
• At least 2 years of pharmacy experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to relocate and adapt to a remote island environment
