Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to support daily pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with Qatar healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process prescriptions accurately.
• Provide courteous customer service and respond to general inquiries.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain billing records.
• Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and organization.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control.
• Check expiry dates and remove expired or damaged products.
• Receive and store incoming supplies properly.
• Ensure compliance with Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) Qatar regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Pharmacy Assistant / Pharmacy Technician from a recognized institution
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or similar role.
• Experience in retail pharmacy or hospital pharmacy preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and medical terminology.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
