The Pharmacy Benefits Data Analyst conducts pharmacy-related data analytics for all St. Luke’s Health Plan pharmacy benefits clients. This role supports the Pharmacy Benefits team in driving their objective to consistently deliver accurately adjudicated prescriptions to patients. Provides data visualization that supports leadership in oversight, management, and strategic planning. Provides recommendations for improving plan performance for the coalition.


What You Can Expect:
  • Responsible for building, maintaining, and performing advanced data analysis using complex tools and techniques on large datasets. Ability to mine and manage information from these datasets.
  • Analyze claims and other data sources to identify early signs of trends or other issues related to pharmacy cost. Interpret data to identify potential business opportunities and make recommendations to product leaders.
  • Develop overall strategy for data reporting and analytics for various departments within PBM. Provide key financial analysis reporting by managing various monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting processes. Monitor and report on data related to team activities to a variety of partners and leadership levels.
  • Engage cross functional teams to drive results, solve issues, and align on analytical findings. Prepare and occasionally present analytical findings to audiences of varying levels of the enterprise to the end of gaining strategic and operational/tactical alignment of best practices.
  • Determines rebate eligible claims, trends, and forecasts future rebates to identify rebate opportunities.
  • Maintain an extensive knowledge of department compliance requirements, available data, and current processes to develop suggestions for process, tool or software, and/or reporting improvements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience: Two (2) years' relevant experience
