Pharmacy Billing Specialist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our pharmacy operations, in a LTC pharmacy

Duties

• Census reconciliation with Long Term facilities
• Submit and reconcile insurance claims, including Medicaid, Medicare Part D, and commercial plans
• Identify and resolve billing errors, denials, and claim rejections
• Prior authorizations, co-pays, and patient responsibility balances
• Communicate with facility staff, insurance companies, and caregivers r regarding medication and billing issues
• Maintain compliance with LTC pharmacy regulations and HIPAA standards

Skills

• Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician, with knowledge of medication administration protocols.
• Familiarity with LTC pharmacy operations
• Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care.
• Experience in acute care settings, demonstrating the ability to handle critical situations effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on providing outstanding patient service.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
