Department Summary

The Division of Student Life supports the university’s academic mission and strategic plan through comprehensive programs and services that promote and advance student learning and success while fostering an inclusive and vibrant campus community. Student Life includes four major portfolios, the Office of the Dean of Students, Experiential Learning & Engagement, Health & Wellbeing, and Division Administration. Position Summary

Minimum Requirements

• Six months of cashiering experience exchanging money for purchases and making change. (Training or experience should have included operating a calculator or ten-key adding machine by touch, and using a computer and keyboard.)

Professional Competencies

• Ability to handle cash and make accurate change for customers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of pharmacy products and services
• Experience with and/or commitment to working effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, in support of an inclusive and welcoming environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a pharmacy setting
• Experience in a customer service role
• Experience operating a Point of Sale (POS) device
