Drug Emporium Pharmacy Cashier

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Perform all Pharmacy Cashier duties to complete customer sales transactions in a positive and friendly manner.

Communicate with customers personally and via telephone and assist Pharmacist with customer flow.

Complete customer purchases and returns at pharmacy cash register.

Assist customers in locating merchandise, including sales floor items.

Price and stock pharmacy merchandise as directed. Call appropriate departments for price checks of unmarked items.

Ensure work station and pharmacy has necessary supplies and is clean and orderly

Develop and maintain positive customer relationships while addressing customer service needs and questions.

Additional store specific duties as needed or required.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent time management skills

Attention to detail

Proactive with the ability to multitask

Strong problem solving skills and able to work independently

Proven customer service focus

High School diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year retail, cashier or comparable experience preferred. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly during an 8 hour shift.

Drugscreen and background check required.

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
