Medplus Pharmacy is a growing independent community pharmacy located in Torrance, CA, inside the Kenneth E. Watts Medical Plaza. We pride ourselves on providing personalized care, free prescription delivery, and exceptional service to our patients and providers.

We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented Pharmacy Clerk who enjoys interacting with patients and supporting a fast-paced pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in customer service and wants to gain hands-on experience in an independent pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Service & Front Desk: Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming, professional environment
• Promote the Pharmacy: Confidently and enthusiastically explain our services and encourage patients to transfer their prescriptions to Medplus Pharmacy
• Prescription Data Entry: Accurately enter prescription information into the pharmacy system
• Phone Support: Answer incoming calls and assist patients with questions, refill requests, and pharmacy services
• OTC Assistance: Maintain and organize the OTC section and assist customers with product selection
• Register & Transactions: Process payments accurately while delivering excellent customer service
• Pharmacy Support: Assist pharmacists and technicians with daily operational tasks
• Lobby Maintenance: Keep the pharmacy lobby clean, organized, and professional

Qualifications

• Previous pharmacy clerk or pharmacy technician experience required
• Familiarity with pharmacy workflow, insurance processing, and medical terminology
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
• Detail-oriented and organized, with strong accuracy in data entry
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
