Pharmacy Clerk/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Pharmacy Clerk/Cashier to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional patient service, managing pharmacy transactions, and supporting medication dispensing processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with medication intake and provide excellent customer service at the pharmacy counter
• Process prescriptions accurately using pharmacy software and ensure proper documentation
• Handle cash register operations
• Support pharmacy technicians and pharmacists with medication preparation and inventory management
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations during all interactions
• packing medication for delivery

Skills

• Computer/ IT
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration protocols
• Experience with pharmacy technician duties
• Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate care and clear communication
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with intake procedures and medication inventory management

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
