Pay Range: $21.61 - $34.04 per hour

Summary:

The coordinator is responsible for the oversight of activities required to maintain the daily operations of the Department of Pharmacy. The coordinator is also responsible for the review and follow-up of quality assurance assignments. The coordinator will exemplify the Rush mission, vision and values and act in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates outstanding competence in both written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates a high level of competency in troubleshooting and maintaining automated equipment.
  • Demonstrates competency in generating and analyzing reports.
  • Successfully reviews and improves the quality of service to be provided by maintaining automated equipment in its most efficient state.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB).
  • Familiarity with PC computer-windows based applications, spreadsheets (Excel), word processing (Word).

Preferred Job Qualifications:
  • Some college level coursework.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operational workflows including improvement ideas, growth opportunities, and projects
  • Serve as a point person for questions and ideas related to operational workflows and projects
  • Review safety events and seek resolution with pharmacy personnel.
  • Participate and present at meetings as applicable.
  • Staff as needed to support departmental needs and maintain proficiency in operational workflows.
  • Flexible staffing shifts when needed to assist in project rollouts or regulatory testing.
  • Assist the operations leadership team with policy and procedure development.
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and seek resolution.
