General Role: Accurately fills, labels, and prepares prescription orders for dispensing in compliance with company policies, state and federal pharmacy regulations, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fill and label prescription orders according to approved formulations and prescriptions
- Ensure accuracy of drug, strength, dosage form, quantity, and labeling
- Follow established SOPs, USP guidelines, and state board of pharmacy regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized fill area and assist with inventory control as needed
- Communicate discrepancies or concerns to the Lead Fill Technician or pharmacist
- Support timely workflow to meet dispensing and shipping deadlines
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active pharmacy technician registration or license as required by state law or able to become registered within 30 days of employment
- Previous pharmacy or prescription fulfillment experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, regulated environment
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy management systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Commitment to quality, accuracy, and patient safety
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
