Pharmacy Operations Technician

Levrx is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Technician to support the Clinical Pharmacy team and serve as a key liaison between patients, providers, and pharmacies. This role will work closely with clinical pharmacists and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate verification of patient information and timely communication of medication-related requests initiated through the Levrx platform. The Pharmacy Operations Technician plays a critical role in ensuring medication changes, pharmacy transfers, and other patient requests are appropriately relayed and resolved.

The responsibilities of the Pharmacy Operations Technician include but are not limited to:

  • Contact provider offices and pharmacies to verify patient, prescriber, and medication information
  • Communicate patient medication requests to providers and dispensing pharmacies
  • Ensure follow-up and documentation to confirm requests have been received, addressed, and completed
  • Support clinical pharmacists with outreach, coordination, and administrative pharmacy tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of communications and outcomes within internal systems

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including clinical, technical, and operational staff
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, technology-driven healthcare environment
  • Professional and courteous phone presence

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Pharmacy Technician experience or healthcare administrative experience
  • Familiarity with pharmacy workflows and prescription processing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic data entry systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
  • Experience working with provider offices, pharmacies, PBMs, or health plans

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
