Pharmacy Program Specialist

We Are Hiring:
Location: Remote
Department: Pharmacy Admin Support
Schedule: Monday to Friday| 40 hours per week
Salary: $68,450 to $94,416 (per year)

What You Will Do:
Collaborate with national and local teams to achieve and maintain compliance with pertinent regulatory and accreditation requirements, including diversion prevention.

Serve as national superuser for diversion software; monitor software output and participate in diversion investigations, as needed.

Assist with developing sterile compounding and hazardous drug best practice guidance, tools, and training resources.

Analyze medication safety event and technology data to identify trends and potential opportunities for improvement.

Support identification and evaluation of external medication safety recommendations and regulatory updates.

Provide support for the communication and monitoring of program goals and KPI's.
What You Will Need:
Education:
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
    degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences:
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician
  • 3 year sterile compounding pharmacy experience
  • Controlled substance handling and diversion prevention/investigation experience
  • Proficient with Google Sheets and Google Slides
  • Leadership experience
