Pharmacy Salesman

Position: Retail Pharmacy Salesperson

Overview:

As a Retail Pharmacy Salesperson, you'll be the frontline representative of our pharmacy, responsible for providing exceptional customer service, dispensing medications, and promoting health and wellness products to our customers. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and informative experience for every individual who visits our store.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Provide guidance and information on prescription and over-the-counter medications, supplements, and health-related products.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests regarding medications and health-related products.

Sales and Promotion:Promote and upsell pharmacy products, including vitamins, supplements, and health aids.
Recommend appropriate over-the-counter medications and health products based on customer needs.
Execute promotional activities and assist in creating attractive displays to enhance product visibility.

Inventory Management:Monitor and manage inventory levels, restocking shelves as needed.
Conduct periodic stock checks and assist in placing orders for medications and retail products.

Compliance and Administration:Adhere to pharmacy regulations, including record-keeping, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring proper documentation.
Follow established procedures for handling and disposing of expired or damaged medications.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in pharmacy practice is a plus.
• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in a pharmacy setting.
• Knowledge of pharmaceuticals, over-the-counter medications, and health-related products.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling medications and customer transactions.

Additional Requirements:

• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems for dispensing and inventory management (training provided if necessary).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations and guidelines.
