Female Pharmacist (For Counter Counseling)

The Female Pharmacist is responsible for providing patient counseling at the pharmacy counter, dispensing medications accurately, ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations, and delivering high-quality customer care. This role requires strong pharmaceutical knowledge, communication skills, and a patient-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:1. Patient Counseling & Customer Service

• Provide accurate medicine counseling to patients at the counter.
• Explain dosage, usage instructions, side effects, and drug interactions.
• Guide patients on OTC (over-the-counter) medications and basic health products.
• Ensure polite, professional, and supportive communication.

2. Dispensing Medications

• Dispense prescription medicines accurately according to doctor’s instructions.
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy, authenticity, and legality.
• Maintain proper documentation for controlled and restricted medicines.

3. Inventory & Stock Management

• Monitor stock levels and expiry dates of medicines.
• Assist in ordering, receiving, and organizing inventory.
• Ensure proper storage conditions according to pharmacy standards.

4. Compliance & Safety

• Follow all pharmacy laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate recordkeeping.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper hygiene at the counter.

5. Coordination & Communication

• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and pharmacy staff as needed.
• Handle customer concerns, complaints, and clarifications professionally.
• Support pharmacy operations and daily tasks when required.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) or equivalent qualification.
• Valid pharmacist license/registration (if required by region).
• Strong knowledge of medicines, dosage forms, and interactions.
• Excellent communication and counseling skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
• Professional, responsible, and patient-focused attitude.
