Pharmacy Technician

The Pharmacy Technician supports licensed pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and managing medications to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate pharmaceutical services. This role involves direct interaction with patients, healthcare professionals, and suppliers while maintaining compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately.
• Verify prescription details and ensure completeness of patient information.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and check medication stock levels and expiration dates.
• Label and package medications in accordance with regulatory and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled substances, and billing information.
• Provide information and assistance to patients regarding medication use and refills (under pharmacist supervision).
• Support administrative tasks such as data entry, insurance claims processing, and record keeping.
• Comply with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or certification in Pharmacy Technology (or equivalent qualification).
• Registration or license with the relevant pharmacy council (if required).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in pharmacy software and basic computer applications.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under supervision.

Pay: Rs30,000.00 - Rs40,000.00 per month
