Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring patient safety and adherence to pharmacy regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper packing, labeling and staging of orders
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pharmacy storage areas
• Ensure all information is labeled correctly
• Maintain effective communication with customers, co-workers and other team members
• Stock and monitor inventory of prescription medication
• Work well in a team environment
• Portray the company in a positive image
• Required to abide by all rules, regulations and policies of the employer

Experience

• Must be a registered Pharmacy Technician with the State of Illinois within 30 days from the date of hire and certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board within one year of date of hire
• Certification needs to be current and renewed as necessary
• Must be detail oriented and precise
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
