Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting patient care by assisting pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and providing excellent patient service. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and aseptic techniques, particularly in acute care settings.

Duties

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including IV infusions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
• Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications.
• Perform inventory management tasks, including ordering, receiving, and stocking pharmaceuticals.
• Utilize aseptic technique when compounding sterile preparations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes through effective medication management.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
