Pharmacy Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Tech to join our team in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in daily billing and shipping of medications to clients based on custom price lists.
• Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to prescriptions and medications.
• Maintain organized pharmacy records, including patient profiles and medication logs.
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and safety protocols.
• Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and receiving shipments.
• Assist in the training of new staff members on pharmacy procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care within acute care settings.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to pharmacy practices.
• Experience or familiarity with critical care and medication administration processes.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a hospital pharmacy setting is preferred but not required.
• Understanding of inhalation therapies and acute care practices is a plus.
