Looking for a Pharmacy Technician

30-40 hours a week/ $15to $21 an hour depending on experience

Looking for a Certified Pharmacy Technician. Only have your trainee license? That’s fine too! Come work with us and gain valuable information needed for your certification exam. We are an independent, compounding pharmacy in New Braunfels, TX. You will be working with a small team consisting of two Pharmacists and three Pharmacy Technicians. Duties include but are not limited to filling and dispensing prescriptions, assisting patients in the store and over the phone, and communicate with doctors about prescriptions.

Requirements

- Current Pharmacy Technician License or Trainee License

- Current PTCB Certification if you are a Technician

- High School diploma/ GED

Experience

- Previous Pharmacy experience is preferred, but not required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Exceptional customer service and communication skills

- Must be organized, responsible, and punctual

- Solid math skills to correctly calculate days supply (with the help of a calculator)

- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment

- Be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 10 hours), bend, and stoop

- Non-sterile compounding experience is a PLUS!

Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday 9am-7pm and Saturdays 9am-1pm. Interested candidates must be available to alternate Saturdays in addition to regular shifts during the week.
