We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-driven Pharmacy Technician with a strong interest in compounding to join our growing team.

Position Overview:

This full-time role is a blend of hands-on compounding (approximately 2/3 of the role) and pharmacy data entry and PDMP (1/3). The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with pharmacy software, and thrives in a detail-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Compounding & Lab Duties (Approx. 2/3 of Role):

• Prepare compounded medications in accordance with formulas, SOPs, and safety protocols.
• Operate and maintain compounding equipment.
• Ensure all compounded products meet high standards of accuracy, sterility (where applicable), and consistency.
• Maintain clean, organized, and compliant lab environment.
• Document compounding activities with accuracy and attention to detail.

Pharmacy Technician Duties (Approx. 1/3 of Role):

• Accurately enter prescriptions into pharmacy software.
• Review and manage PDMP (Prescription Drug Monitoring Program) requirements.
• Assist in prescription processing and label preparation.
• Communicate with patients and healthcare providers in a professional manner.

General Duties:

• Manage inventory of raw ingredients, supplies, and medications.
• Receive, store, and organize incoming stock.
• Perform quality control checks and maintain detailed records.
• Follow HIPAA and pharmacy regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

• Current Pharmacy Technician license (CPhT or equivalent) in the state of Wisconsin (preferred).
• Previous experience with compounding (preferred).
• Strong proficiency with pharmacy software systems and PDMP platforms.
• Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be on your feet for extended periods.
• Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced, accuracy-driven environment.
• Technologically proficient and eager to learn new systems and processes.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
