We're a small business and an independent pharmacy looking to add someone to our team of pharmacy technicians.

Business Hours:

*Monday: 9am - 7pm

*Tuesday: 9am-7pm

*Wednesday: 9am-7pm

Thursday: 9am - 7pm

Friday: 9am-7pm

*Saturday: 9am-6:30pm

Sunday: Closed

If you're applying, you MUST have availability to work in the hours of 11am-7pm. Particularly looking for someone on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Part - Time Position Available, Full time available after tenure.

Scheduling:

4-8 hour shifts increments

Day / evening availability

15-30 hours a week

**Job Summary**

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the daily operations of our pharmacy. You will assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing quality customer service to ensure each patient receives the attention and care they deserve.

*Key Responsibilities*

- **Prescription Management:** Accurately prepare, package, and label prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

- **Customer Service:** Greet and assist customers, answer phone inquiries, and provide information about prescriptions and over-the-counter medications.

- **Inventory Management:** Receive, organize, and restock inventory, ensuring all medications are stored and documented properly.

- **Technology Use:** Operate pharmacy software systems to process prescriptions, manage patient records, and process transactions. Familiarity with systems like PrimeRx and point-of-sale software is a plus.

- **Regulatory Compliance:** Follow all state and federal pharmacy regulations, including maintaining confidentiality of patient records.

### **Qualifications**

- High school diploma or equivalent (required).

- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (preferred but not required in NYS).

- Prior experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in an independent or small business environment.

- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn and use pharmacy software.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
