Pharmacy Technician

We are a locally owned and operated pharmacy and home medical equipment company. Our multiple locations provide services throughout Western Kentucky. We provide pharmacy retail services, home medical equipment, respiratory equipment, and diabetic supplies.

The Pharmacy Technician schedule includes a rotation between opening shift 8:30am-5pm and closing shift 10am-6:30pm, every-other Saturday 8:30am-5:00pm, no Sundays or major holidays.

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities/Objectives

• Assisting pharmacist in all aspects of pharmacy services
• Monitor inventory levels continually. Monthly basis pull out dates and short dates
• Receiving and confirming prescription orders
• Working in RX-30 to process and fill prescriptions
• Responsible for getting outdated and partials returned for credit
• Other miscellaneous as requested by management

Pharmacy Technician Job Skills/Experience

• Face-to-face customer service and retail experience.
• Comfort in a fast-paced production environment, with a high level of adaptability in job assignments
• Has proper telephone etiquette
• Attention to detail and error-prevention practices
• Comfort and proficiency with computer-based office and fulfillment systems
• Ability and joy in working with the public.
• Able to pass drug screening and criminal background checks

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
