Pharmacy Technician

Job description

We are looking for someone that can help with the following;

- Greet and assist customers with questions both in person and over the phone.

- Operate a register. (Credit cards, checks, and cash transactions)

- Answer phones and transfer them to the correct line

- Enter data for new patients profiles and prescriptions

- Verify prescription information is entered correctly and filled accurately

- Fill and refill prescriptions in a timely manner

- Fax prescribers for refills and prior authorizations then follow up if needed

- Clean the store (vacuum the carpet, clean counter tops, wipe windows, take out the trash, etc)

- Stock the store (soda, chips, candy, medications, etc)

- Load and unload trays/cases and apply pricing stickers on inventory

- Sign out customers when they pick up their medications

- Comply with patient/customer confidentiality

- GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A MUST

- Assist other pharmacy personnel when asked

- Be self motivated enough to complete tasks without being prompted

- Salary depends on experience and certification.

Certified pharmacy technicians & PrimeRX knowledge preferred.

- Minimum 1 year pharmacy experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Starting Rate: $15.00 to $17.00 /hour
