Responsibilities

• Prescription Preparation: Gathering, counting, pouring, mixing, and labeling medication orders under pharmacist supervision.
• Customer Service: Greeting patients, operating point-of-sale systems, and assisting with over-the-counter medication inquiries.
• Insurance Processing: Data entry for patient profiles and resolving medication insurance claims.
• Inventory Management: Ordering, stocking, and organizing inventory; removing expired or damaged items.
• Administrative Tasks: Answering phones, managing front-desk operations, and maintaining a clean, secure pharmacy environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in medication dispensing and data entry.
• Communication: Interacting with patients and healthcare providers effectively.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer software and pharmaceutical systems.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and walk.
• Diploma: High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Certification: Must be able to complete PTCB certification within 2 years of hire. Training provided.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
