Curant Health is searching for a Pharmacy Technician to join its team in St. Petersburg, FL

Responsibilities:

• Works under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, within the scope of practice, compounds and dispenses prescriptions.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming supplies.
• Verifies stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
• Maintains familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Efficiently performs a variety of complicated tasks and may be expected to perform some basic clerical duties relating to the department.
• Communicates clearly and effectively both in person and on the phone to patient care coordinators, pharmacists, management and leadership team.
• Package medications appropriately using bottles, bubble packs, or CuraPak pouches when needed.
• Accurately input necessary data to keep patient records up to date.
• Analyze and review data for completeness and accuracy of documentation according to specified standards.
• Run point of sale operations and generate shipping labels as needed.
• Pack and ship packages to patients as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent
• Requires at least 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Must be registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Florida. Certification is a plus.
