Pharmacy Technician

Duties

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
• Assist with medication intake procedures, verifying prescriptions against medical records and ensuring proper documentation.
• Manage medication inventory levels, restocking shelves, and ensuring proper storage conditions to maintain medication integrity.
• Maintain detailed records of medication administration, inventory logs, and compliance documentation in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Assist with other tasks within the pharmacy as needed such as cleaning, organizing, answering the phone, and leading patient intake for various programs going on in the pharmacy.

Experience

• Previous pharmacy technician experience is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to handle intake processes efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced settings.
• Certification as a pharmacy technician (such as PTCB or equivalent) is preferred, but not required.

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
