UnitedRx is seeking a reliable, detail-focused Pharmacy Technician to support our long-term care pharmacy operations. This role is best suited for individuals who are comfortable with repetitive, production-based work, strict accuracy standards, and a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
This is not a retail setting—our workflow is structured, deadline-driven, and focused on supporting nursing facilities with timely medication delivery.
Shift/Hours:
- Rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Set schedule assigned based on business needs
- Must be able to remain on task for extended periods and meet daily production goals
- Attendance and punctuality are critical due to team-based workflow
Requirements:
- Education, Qualifications & Skills: High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays
- Licensed KS tech preferred.

Core Responsibilities
- Accurately fill and package medication orders under pharmacist supervision
- Prepare and maintain 30-day cycle fill medication cards in alignment with facility schedules
- Review and process facility pre-fill lists to ensure on-time delivery
- Handle returned medications, including proper sorting, recycling, and disposal
- Perform pre-packaging of high-volume medications during non-peak times
- Package medications and apply labels following standardized procedures
- Maintain an organized workstation and ensure packing materials are stocked
- Follow all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA compliance
- Support team workflow and adapt to changing priorities throughout the shift
Qualifications & Fit
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Kansas Pharmacy Technician license preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Prior long-term care or cycle fill experience strongly preferred
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy
- Comfortable working in a structured, metric-driven environment
- Strong reliability, accountability, and team collaboration skills
