Pharmacy Technician - BayCare Central Pharmacy

We are currently searching for our newest Pharmacy Technician who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community.

Position Details :

• Facility: BayCare Integrated Service Center
• Location: Tampa, FL
• Status: Full time
• Shift: 7AM - 5:30PM
• Weekend Work: None
• On Call: No

Pharmacy Technician , under the immediate oversight of the Pharmacist, responsibilities include:

• Prepares sterile and non sterile, nonhazardous and hazardous products.
• Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in the facility functioning under Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Cleans International Organization for Standardization (ISO)-classified spaces. Responsible for inventory control for the BayCare Central Pharmacy.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent GED
• Required FL Registered Pharmacy Technician License
• 1 year experience - Pharmacy Technician

Preferred Qualifications:

• IV Preparation experience

• Ability to methodically follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Aseptic technique for the production of sterile preparation.
