Join our team at Route 66 Pharmacy in the heart of Needles, California, a close-knit remote community where you can make a real difference! We’re seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Pharmacy Technician to support our retail pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) with dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
• Perform medication intake and verification processes.
• Manage inventory control, including ordering, stocking, and tracking medications
• Provide excellent customer service to patients in a retail pharmacy setting
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulations
• Perform general pharmacy tasks, including prescription processing and organization.
• Monday - Friday 9am-5:30pm

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician License
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care
• Ability to thrive in a small, remote town environment
• Strong understanding of medical terminology
• Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate patient care.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems Digital RX for medication management.
