This position includes patient tracking, processing of patient claims, customer service, issue resolution and/or escalation. When in this position you will be responsible for doing Data Entry, Requesting, and following up on refill request, processing Medicare and Medical claims and working on adjudicated claims.

Schedule: 1.0FTE Mon-Fri 9:00AM-5:00PM CST

Responsibilities
- Complete intake process for Diabetes Care Services, and limited distribution pharmacy patients including new patient enrollment, insurance verification, and medication refill and delivery schedule.
- Under the direction of the pharmacist, receive prescription/orders from patients, process manually or using the appropriate computer system and protocols in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with all legal, regulatory agency and Fairview requirements.
- Coordinate ordering, delivery of medications, supplies and equipment to patients and clinical areas as requested.
- Other responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to back up phone coverage, data collection, reporting, process improvement and maintenance of patient education materials.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year healthcare experience including six months as a pharmacy technician
- Pharmacy Technician MN
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate of Pharmacy Tech Program
- 2 years pharmacy technician experience in a call center environment
- Pharmacy Technician National Certifcation
Qualifications:
$24.77- $34.97 Hourly
