Pharmacy Technician - Remote

Location: Remote / Work From Home

Training: 1 week in Encino, California

MDR Pharmacy, a leading specialty fertility pharmacy, is hiring licensed Pharmacy Technicians to support our team remotely as Patient Care Coordinators.

This is a work-from-home position available to candidates located in select states. Selected candidates will complete a 1-week, fully paid training program at our Encino, California headquarters. Travel and lodging will be provided.

Job Description

The Patient Care Coordinator is a licensed Pharmacy Technician who supports patients and clinics by assisting with prescriptions, refill processing, and medication coordination. This role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to provide accurate and timely support in a fast-paced pharmacy setting.

Patient Care Coordinators play an important role in ensuring refill requests are processed efficiently while maintaining a high level of patient care, accuracy, and communication.

What You’ll Do

• Process prescription accurately and efficiently
• Communicate with patients and clinics in a professional and helpful manner
• Verify patient information, billing details, and medication needs
• Use strong attention to detail, basic math, and prioritization skills to manage daily responsibilities
• Work closely with internal pharmacy teams to resolve issues and support patient care
Maintain clear and accurate documentation while following pharmacy procedures

Qualifications

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in the state where you reside
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician required
• Must reside in Ohio, Tennessee, South Carolina, Indiana, Michigan, or West Virginia
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote work environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Typing speed of 45+ WPM preferred
