The Philanthropy Associate II, Donor Relations and Stewardship, plays a vital role in advancing the mission of the University of Maryland Medicine (UMM) by strengthening relationships with donors and prospects. This role supports key stewardship and donor engagement initiatives, ensuring donors feel valued and connected to the impact of their contributions. The successful candidate will assist in donor communications, manage data, support events, coordinate social media stewardship efforts, and play a central role in donor reporting and recognition.

Primary Duties:
Donor Cultivation & Stewardship
Data Management, Reporting, & Fund Compliance
Donor Recognition, Impact Communication & Social Media Coordination
Cross-Team Collaboration
Administrative Support
Education: Bachelor's degree.
Experience: Two (2) years of fundraising, philanthropy, or client/customer relations experience. Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) and content scheduling tools preferred.
OTHER: Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education and experience requirement on a year -for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience. In instances where specific education and/or experience is required only directly related education and/or experience may be substituted.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication; excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail; proficiency in Microsoft
Office Suite; familiarity with CRM databases (Advance or Raiser’s Edge NXT preferred).
Hiring Range: $54,000 - $59,000, commensurate with education and experience.
